ANAKEESTA SIGNAGE

Anakeesta is a family-fun mountain top adventure park placed atop the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s a magical place that invites guest to not only have fun, but look out and greet nature in a new way!

I’ve had the privilege of getting to create some environmental design for the park, such as main ID signage, ballards, cupolas, etc.

ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN, ON-GOING

MAIN ID signage

Anakeesta features multiple services in their park: food & beverage locations, retail stores, coasters, etc. These marquee signs serve as the primary visual for each one; they tell a story before the guest has even walked through the door. I had loads of fun designing a range of signs, even 6 feet tall ice cream cones!

blade signage

During Anakeesta’s ‘Making More Magic’ expansion, I was approached with the task of creating blade signs that would appear along the main walkway of Anakeesta. The signs also feature custom metal brackets that I designed to match Firefly Village. Each sign & bracket is special to the village and building it represents.

METAL WORK

After taking a high-speed gondola to the top of the mountain, the first piece of Anakeesta you encounter is Firefly Village. As a part of their newest expansion project, Firefly Village got a complete makeover, filled with fire pits, waterfalls, and more. Here are a couple additions I had a hand in developing.
